Being new to San Diego/the U.S., students experience lots of first impressions upon their arrival. Some are good; some are bad, but all are lasting. What or who has made a memorable first impression on you? What it a person: a cab driver, a host, someone at school? Or was it a place or an event: the airport, riding public transportation, etc.?
Write a paragraph describing your experience. When did it happen? Who or what was involved? Detail the setting for the reader, with descriptions of people, places and events involved and how this experience made you feel. What this a good or bad experience? What effect did this encounter have on your opinion of San Diego?
Your paragraph should answer all of these questions and X sentences. After you write your paragraph and discuss feedback on content and organization with your teacher, you can post it on your blog to share with your followers! This is your choice of course. Update them on your life here!
